ORGANISATIONAL BULLYING SURVEY
One of the services which differentiates The Andrea Adams Trust from other providers of anti-bullying consultancy and training is its organisational bullying survey. Purpose designed by the Trust and its research partner, Digital Opinion, the survey is probably the most powerful diagnostic tool currently available in the field. Tailored to the needs of each client and conducted by Digital Opinion, it generates comprehensive reports and real insights into workplace bullying and harassment, thus providing a solid research-based foundation on which effective policies and procedures can be built.
The Questionnaire
The questionnaire is easy to complete, totally confidential and aimed at all employees. It is comprehensive and thoroughly investigates:
- Which categories of employee consider themselves to be the victims of
workplace bullying.
- Which categories of employee are most responsible for bullying.
- The nature of the bullying (verbal abuse or humiliation, for example).
- The perceived reasons for the bullying.
- The remedial actions taken by victims.
- The effectiveness of those actions.
- Awareness of the organisation's current anti-bullying policies and
procedures.
- Views on what measures could be taken to deal with the problem.
Analysis and Interpretation
The feedback is analysed and interpreted by Digital Opinion and The Andrea Adams Trust and a detailed client presentation prepared. The analysis focuses on understanding the nature of the problem and identifying appropriate solutions.
Neither The Andrea Adams Trust nor Digital Opinion will identify individual victims or perpetrators of bullying, or allow themselves to be involved in naming and shaming.
Presenting the Results
Delivered by senior consultants from both The Andrea Adams Trust and Digital Opinion, the presentation provides the client with a clear understanding of the exact nature and scale of bullying. The presentation is usually followed by a discussion of possible solutions and how they might be tailored to the specific circumstances and needs of the client.
